How to use the Work-Life Balance Planner
Planning Your Weekly Schedule
- Go to the “Calendar” section
- Use the “Previous Week” and “Next Week” buttons to select your desired week
- Click “Add Work Event” or “Add Personal Event” button
- Enter event details (title, day, start time, duration)
- Select if the event is recurring (daily, weekly, monthly)
- Click “Save Event” to add it to your calendar
- Click on any existing event to edit or delete it
Setting and Tracking Goals
- Go to the “Goals & Tracking” section
- Click “Add New Goal” button
- Select goal type (work or personal)
- Enter goal title, deadline, and initial progress
- Click “Save Goal” to add it
- Use the edit (pencil) icon on any goal to update progress
- Use the delete (x) icon to remove completed goals
Monitoring Your Wellbeing
- Go to the “Wellbeing Metrics” section
- Click “Update” on any metric card (Stress, Sleep, Exercise, Mindfulness)
- Enter the new value
- Click “Save” to update the metric
- View your wellbeing trends in the chart below
Journaling Your Reflections
- Navigate to the “Reflection Journal” section
- Click the “New Entry” tab
- Enter your journal content
- Select a mood (Great, Good, Neutral, Challenging)
- Add any relevant tags
- Click “Save Entry” to record your reflection
Setting Boundaries
- Go to the “Boundary Management” section
- Update your work hours, days, and focus time preferences
- Configure notification preferences
- Click “Save Changes” for each section
Exporting Your Data
- Click the “Download PDF” button in the top navigation bar
- Wait for the PDF to generate
- Save the file to your device
Using Focus Sessions
- Click “Start Focus Session” on the dashboard
- Work for the 25-minute session (or pause if needed)
- The timer will notify you when the session is complete
