How to use the Work-Life Balance Planner

Planning Your Weekly Schedule

  1. Go to the “Calendar” section
  2. Use the “Previous Week” and “Next Week” buttons to select your desired week
  3. Click “Add Work Event” or “Add Personal Event” button
  4. Enter event details (title, day, start time, duration)
  5. Select if the event is recurring (daily, weekly, monthly)
  6. Click “Save Event” to add it to your calendar
  7. Click on any existing event to edit or delete it

Setting and Tracking Goals

  1. Go to the “Goals & Tracking” section
  2. Click “Add New Goal” button
  3. Select goal type (work or personal)
  4. Enter goal title, deadline, and initial progress
  5. Click “Save Goal” to add it
  6. Use the edit (pencil) icon on any goal to update progress
  7. Use the delete (x) icon to remove completed goals

Monitoring Your Wellbeing

  1. Go to the “Wellbeing Metrics” section
  2. Click “Update” on any metric card (Stress, Sleep, Exercise, Mindfulness)
  3. Enter the new value
  4. Click “Save” to update the metric
  5. View your wellbeing trends in the chart below

Journaling Your Reflections

  1. Navigate to the “Reflection Journal” section
  2. Click the “New Entry” tab
  3. Enter your journal content
  4. Select a mood (Great, Good, Neutral, Challenging)
  5. Add any relevant tags
  6. Click “Save Entry” to record your reflection

Setting Boundaries

  1. Go to the “Boundary Management” section
  2. Update your work hours, days, and focus time preferences
  3. Configure notification preferences
  4. Click “Save Changes” for each section

Exporting Your Data

  1. Click the “Download PDF” button in the top navigation bar
  2. Wait for the PDF to generate
  3. Save the file to your device

Using Focus Sessions

  1. Click “Start Focus Session” on the dashboard
  2. Work for the 25-minute session (or pause if needed)
  3. The timer will notify you when the session is complete
